We have compiled everything you need in order to apply for a Distilled Spirits Plant, necessary for alcohol adjustment in your facility.

For new applications by winery facilities that do not already have a DSP:

Sample Approved Application This sample includes actual approved applications for both an LLC and a Corporation. It also contains many blank pages and pages of instructions, as well as diagrams and descriptions that are either supplied by us, or are copied from your BW, so don't be daunted by its 72 page length. The actual number of pages to fill out for one DSP application is less than 20.

The list of forms and documents looks daunting. However, it is just busy work. The good news is that you have already done the hard part when you applied for your BW. The diagrams and descriptions you did then can simply be copied and applied here. We recommend that you request your entire facility to be the DSP, and then alternate when you use it. This will give you the greatest flexibility.

Remember: The TTB says that the most common cause of rejected applications is not having proper Power of Attorney privilege for the person signing.
